I was in the market for a fairly simple 4K monitor as a second monitor, I’d previously had a cheaper brand which failed after a few months.
I was really impressed firstly with the packaging, very easy to get everything out and set up in minutes - no polystyrene to try and get rid of too!
The screen uses a standard kettle lead for power, meaning you don’t have to try and hide a transformer block anywhere, ideal if you like a tidy desk.
The USB-C option is great, no need to have separate chargers and USB cables going to your laptop, most monitor at this price point don’t have this!
I’m using the screen with a MacBook Pro and the quality is perfect, colours look great! The settings of the monitor provide lots of different things you can change, I’ve fiddled with some display settings and it simply looks great.
The build quality looks pretty good for the price range, and it’s very light - ideal for a monitor arm.
The only downside is the refresh rate, it’s noticeable next to a 100Hz monitor and the MacBook display.
Overall very good for the price point!
