As I am an amature YouTuber, making 1080p videos I needed something with enough space to tide me over. And this does well, storing all my 1080p videos that I have made in the last few years, aswell as ALL my photos and music (a fair bit really).
While a little on the noisey side when it spins up, once it spinning I can mostly ignore it (though my PC case is pretty bad in terms of sound dampening anyway so i might be talking out of my left foot for all I know). Going to use it in my new PC build i august aswell, and hopefully that case will have sufficient anti vibration pads and orings so the drive should be quieter.
Overall a good drive, no problems thus far and its in use pretty much everyday for several hours at a time while I am in the "office".
